Our History
- Ed and Lester Cole opened Cole Manufacturing Corporation
- Took over product lines from BK. Sweeney – Bud Wheel Wrench & Line Clamp Plier
- Purchased the first CNC machine in Colorado
- Current building constructed to allow for expanded operations
ISO certified since
- Ed retired and sold to long-time employees Allen and Lorrie Dvoracek
- Allen & Lorrie Dvoracek changed name to A & L Machining Inc.
- Joined the National Machining and Tooling Association (NTMA)
- Mori Seike NHX 4000 with pallet pool system purchased to enhance automation capabilities.
- Added temperature-controlled inspection lab
- Purchased 45 pieces of equipment throughout A&L Machining 0wnership
- Ben Dunn took over as the new owner and CEO
- Allen & Lorrie retired after 39 years of dedication to manufacturing
- Ben Dunn joined the RMTMA & Pitkens Technical College boards
- Implemented ProShop ERP
- Transitioned from paper job packets to 100% paperless digital ecosystem.
- NRL Colorado committee members & volunteers – 2024
- First company to upscale employee through RMTMA apprenticeship program
